Enabling Java
If you would like to view the screen saver simulations, you need to have Java enabled on your browser. Please follow the instructions below that apply to your browser.
Netscape 4.x
Click on the "Edit" menu, then "Preferences". In the "Category" window,click on the "Advanced" TEXT, not the little plus sign. In the window on the right, there is a list of six check boxes. Make sure that "Enable Java" and "Enable JavaScript" ARE checked.
Click the "OK" button, then "Reload".
Netscape 3.x
Click on the "Options" menu , then "Network Preferences".
Click on the 'Languages" tab, then make sure that the "Enable Java" and "Enable JavaScript" checkbooks ARE checked.
Click the "OK" button, then "Reload".
Netscape 2.x
Click on the "Options" menu , then "Security Preferences".
Click on the "General" tab and make sure the "Disable Java" and "Disable JavaScript" checkbooks are NOT checked.
Click the "OK" button, then "Reload".
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Click on the "View" menu, and select "Options". A tabbed dialog should appear. Select the Security tab. At the bottom of the window is a section named Active Content. Check the bottom check box labeled "Enable Java Programs". Then click on "Advanced", and at the bottom check the check box labeled "Enable Java JIT compiler".
Click the "OK" button, then "Reload".
